Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Travel School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Delaware We are now hiring a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for full-time, school-based assignments throughout Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who enjoy flexibility, competitive pay, and the chance to explore new locations while making a meaningful impact in students' lives. Previous experience working with children is preferred, but not required. As a travel SLP, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings across Delaware—from coastal communities to charming small towns and growing suburban areas. With easy access to beaches, historic sites, and nearby cities like Philadelphia and Baltimore, Delaware offers a great mix of relaxed living and regional connectivity.
Responsibilities:
Provide evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments. Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to support students' communication needs. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring. Manage a K-12 caseload across varying age groups and school settings.
Experience:
Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred. Travel or contract experience is a plus, but not required.
Education & Requirements:
Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist License (or eligibility) ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs may be considered depending on assignment) Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive weekly pay (often $1,700-$2,300+ depending on assignment) Housing stipends or assistance Travel reimbursement Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) options
