Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Shape the future for young learners while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time contract role! This rewarding opportunity supports PreK students by providing expert Speech-Language Pathology services in a school setting near Avon Park, FL. Your specialized skills will help children overcome communication challenges and thrive in their academic journey.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) School-based experience working with PreK population highly desired Familiarity with IEP process and therapy documentation standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with families, staff, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK students Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals Deliver direct therapy services in individual and small group settings Monitor and document student progress; update goals as needed Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student support teams Communicate proactively with educators and parents regarding student needs and successes Maintain accurate, timely reports and records in accordance with district and state requirements Enjoy the benefit of a part-time schedule—just 10-15 hours per week—ideal for maintaining work-life balance or supplementing your current role.
