Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role where you'll provide specialized speech-language services to a small caseload of seven students in a supportive school setting near Clearwater, FL. This opportunity offers a part-time schedule—just two days a week, approximately 2.5 hours each day—making it perfect for professionals looking for flexible, meaningful work with real impact.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates considered State license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida Strong experience working with school-age or pediatric populations Familiarity with school-based IEP protocols and documentation Experience conducting therapy via telepractice considered a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct individualized and small-group speech and language therapy sessions for seven students Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and student progress Participate in IEP meetings, preparing clear reports and recommendations Employ technology and teletherapy tools as needed to maximize student engagement and progress This role is ideal for SLP professionals seeking focused, consistent hours with flexibility and autonomy.
