PRN Speech Language Pathologist Daytona Beach, FL 32121 Up to $200 an hour - Part-time, PRN Up to $200 an hour - Part-time, PRN Job Summary Nayar Health Care is seeking a dedicated PRN Speech Language Pathologist to provide exceptional speech therapy services on an as-needed basis. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders, primarily within geriatric populations. The ideal candidate will have experience in early intervention and geriatrics, with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives through patient-centered care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Provide speech therapy interventions across various settings, including schools and clinics Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient progress Monitor and document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed clinical records Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication skills and swallowing safety Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology, including early intervention techniques Requirements Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Prior experience working in school settings or with geriatric populations preferred Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Experience with patient assessment and developing effective treatment plans Knowledge of early intervention strategies for young children Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual patient needs Commitment to providing compassionate patient care in diverse settings
