Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school setting within Estero, FL. This contract role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities across multiple school locations serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Ideal candidates will have an active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure and be prepared to deliver direct speech therapy and conduct evaluations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations. Collaborate with educators and school staff to support student communication goals. Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district guidelines. Adhere to all credentialing and fingerprinting requirements to obtain necessary district clearance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure is required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates holding Clinical Fellow (CF) status will be considered with supervision. Experience working with K-12 student populations across diverse educational settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff. Ability to work on-site exclusively at assigned school locations.
Locations & Schedule:
Assignments are available at various schools including Palmetto Ridge High School (3 days/week), Pinecrest Elementary, Lake Trafford, Highlands Elementary, and Golden Terrace with flexible day allocations to combine for a full-time or part-time workload (7 to 35 hours per week). Contract duration is from ASAP through May 29, 2026.
