Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and their support networks on exercises and strategies to reinforce communication skills outside of therapy sessions. Skills Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or early intervention settings. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques specific to pediatrics and early development stages. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments using appropriate tools and medical terminology. Deep understanding of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to children's needs. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and interdisciplinary collaboration.
