The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients and possess a strong understanding of speech therapy techniques. This role involves assessing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for developing individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills, and implementing the treatment strategies to help assist patients in achieving their therapy goals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in pediatric patients. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment results. Provide direct speech therapy services to children in various settings, including in-clinic services, home-based therapy, or community-based settings such as schools, daycares, parks or playgrounds. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and intervention strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care principles related to speech therapy. Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families. Passion for working with pediatric populations and enhancing their communication abilities through targeted interventions. Who we are Achieve Therapy Services is an established, therapist-owned, private practice located in Indian Harbour Beach, FL. Our practice has been serving the Beachside and Melbourne area for over 10 years and is continuing to grow! We offer flexible scheduling with the treatment caseload, and the contract therapist position will be part time to start and can increase to full time as desired.
