Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Diagnostician in Jay, FL, from April 22nd through May 28th. This role involves primarily conducting child find screenings for pre-kindergarten children, with some assessments of school-aged students. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years of school-based experience, demonstrating expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology within educational settings. Must hold relevant certifications such as CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and qualifications in school-based speech-language pathology, including completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key qualifications:
At least three years of experience in school-based speech-language pathology Expertise in pediatric assessments, particularly child find screenings for early childhood populations Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with a CCC preferred Experience working with early childhood and school-aged students Ability to perform thorough diagnostic evaluations and provide clear, detailed reportsResponsibilities:
