Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a genuine impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students' growth and communication skills in a vibrant school environment. This contract opportunity is available for both experienced clinicians (SLP-CCC) and strong Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) ready to deliver dedicated on-site therapy (remote services are not available). Full-time hours are available (up to 37.5 per week), with some flexibility for part-time consideration.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification Eligibility for completion of school-based fingerprinting and credentialing, including transfer or validation of previous prints through the AHCA Clearinghouse if applicable Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families Ability to manage diverse or shifting caseloads based on school assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide targeted speech, language, and communication therapy to students across assigned campus locations, serving PreK-12 as determined by school needs Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to set and track student goals Complete required documentation, maintain compliance with district and state guidelines, and communicate effectively with school personnel and families Travel as needed among assigned campuses, fostering positive relationships in various school communities Contribute to intervention planning, progress monitoring, and professional development within the educational setting This opportunity spans from 8/11/26 to 5/27/27 with potential placements in a variety of dynamic schools around the Fort Myers area.
