Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Troya Therapy Miami, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $55 - $65 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Spanish Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Teamwork English Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Organizational skills Full Job Description oin Troya Therapy as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and become part of a small, close-knit pediatric practice that is intentionally different from large, high-volume clinic systems. Our team consists of just 3-4 clinicians, allowing for close collaboration, individualized mentorship, and a supportive, family-style environment where every team member is truly known and valued. This position is primarily focused on providing in-community pediatric speech therapy services within Miami Springs, Hialeah, and Doral, with the goal of hiring someone local to these areas to keep travel minimal, efficient, and intentionally structured. In addition, there is the option to work up to two days per week in our South Miami clinic, offering a balanced mix of community-based and clinic-based experience. This role is ideal for an SLP who enjoys building strong relationships with families, working within a supportive team, and making a direct impact in the pediatric community. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients Provide direct speech and language therapy services for children with articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, feeding, and social/pragmatic communication needs Deliver services in a streamlined schedule: primarily clinic-based (South Miami), with one dedicated community/travel day for nearby areas (Miami Springs, Hialeah, Doral) Provide therapy in clinic, home, school, or community-based settings as assigned Complete and maintain timely evaluations, progress reports, daily notes, and other clinical documentation in compliance with professional and privacy standards Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary providers to support carryover and generalization of skills Participate in
IEP/IFSP
meetings and provide recommendations as needed Supervise and collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when applicable Develop and adapt therapy materials and activities tailored to each child's individualized goals Maintain strong communication with team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative small-practice environment Support a high standard of clinical care while fostering meaningful relationships with children and families Qualifications Current or pending Florida Speech-Language Pathologist licensure Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CF candidates may be considered Bilingual in English and Spanish required Experience working with pediatric populations in clinic, school, early intervention, or community-based settings preferred Strong understanding of child development and pediatric speech-language disorders Ability to independently manage evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical documentation Comfortable providing services across clinic and community settings Ability to travel locally within a limited and clustered service area (Miami Springs, Hialeah, Doral) Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative, team-oriented environment Interest in mentorship, professional development, and long-term clinical growth
