Job Description

Director of Speech-Language Pathology Services Southwest Florida | Multi-Site Pediatric Therapy Organization A growing pediatric therapy organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist to lead and oversee Speech Therapy Services across multiple outpatient pediatric therapy locations throughout Southwest Florida. This leadership position is responsible for the clinical, operational, and strategic oversight of Speech-Language Pathology services, ensuring high-quality care, strong team development, regulatory compliance, and continued program growth. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring clinicians, building strong teams, and creating systems that support exceptional client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for Speech Therapy services across multiple pediatric therapy locations. Supervise, mentor, and develop Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants. Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention initiatives. Ensure compliance with state, federal, payer, and professional practice requirements. Monitor clinical quality, documentation standards, and productivity expectations. Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and best practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership teams to support organizational goals. Assist with staffing, scheduling, program development, and operational planning. Promote a positive culture focused on clinical excellence, teamwork, and family-centered care. Analyze department performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of pediatric Speech Therapy experience. Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience required. Experience overseeing multiple providers and/or multiple locations preferred. Strong understanding of pediatric developmental, behavioral, and communication disorders. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
