As a Speech Therapist, you'll work with a diverse hospital patient population—evaluating, treating, and guiding recovery for individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Why You'll Love This Role Meaningful work—see real patient progress every day Collaborative team environment (PT, OT, MDs, nursing) Treat a wide range of conditions (stroke, neuro, post-surgical, dysphagia) Access to modern hospital resources & technology Located in beautiful Naples, FL What You'll Do In this role, you will: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve outcomes Provide therapy for patients with communication and swallowing impairments Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies in collaboration with radiology Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records Educate patients and families on recovery strategies and home care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care Support discharge planning and continuity of care What You Bring Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active Florida SLP license (or eligibility) 1 year of hospital or clinical experience required BCLS required Experience with dysphagia and MBS studies is a plus What Makes This Role Special Hospital-based SLPs play a critical role in patient recovery—often working during the most acute phase of illness to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function, which directly influences discharge outcomes and long-term independence.
