Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of students by providing dedicated support as a Speech Language Pathologist in the vibrant Fort Myers, FL area. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about fostering communication skills among school-aged children and adolescents. Both experienced SLP-CCCs and enthusiastic SLP-CFs are encouraged to apply. Full-time roles are available (up to 37.5 hours per week), with potential for part-time flexibility. The assignment spans multiple campuses, offering variety and exposure to diverse caseloads. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Current Florida teacher certification and/or active
FL DOH SLP
license Eligibility to complete Florida fingerprinting requirements (or ability to verify existing prints via the AHCA Clearinghouse) Strong collaboration and communication skills Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Commitment to providing on-site services (no virtual/VOCO assignments available) Key responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, adapting interventions to meet individual educational plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation for assessments, progress notes, and compliance with district/state regulations Provide support across assigned schools, with caseload and age groups determined by site
