Job Description

Join our travel SLP team in Plantation, FL at a hospital setting. Provide evaluation and treatment for adult and geriatric patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Work with interdisciplinary teams to perform bedside and instrumental assessments including modified barium swallow studies. Candidates should be independent clinicians who document in Meditech and contribute to a cohesive department focused on patient advocacy and clinical strength. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license. Provisional licenses are not accepted. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Experience performing and interpreting modified barium swallow (MBS/fluoro) studies. Experience in acute care with adult/geriatric populations, including swallow evaluations post-extubation, stroke protocol, and dysphagia treatment. Ability to work independently with limited on-site training for clinical procedures and documentation in Meditech. Preferred Qualifications Prior acute care hospital experience with full caseload management (approximately 10-12 patients). Experience functioning in fast-paced units and strong patient advocacy skills.
