CF's are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients, particularly focusing on pediatric populations. The Speech Language Pathologist will work collaboratively with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop effective intervention strategies that promote communication skills and enhance patient care. Services will be primarily in person with telehealth for those clients that are suitable candidates. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs. Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions. Provide education and resources to families regarding speech development and therapy techniques. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology. Requirements Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist OR if a CF, provisional license to be obtained. Active NPI. Florida Medicaid provider enrollment. Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
