Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language pathology services within an elementary school environment! This contract role offers the chance to engage with a diverse K-5 student population, supporting their communication development and academic growth in a collaborative educational setting. The preferred assignment is on-site at one elementary school for the full academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Ability to manage a full-time caseload at one elementary campus Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and staff Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized support Willingness to submit a zip code to ensure appropriate school placement for commuting Completion of internal eligibility interview and potential prescreening Thorough understanding of credentialing requirements and timelines
Role Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5 Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress for assigned caseload Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student success Deliver both individual and small group interventions tailored to student needs Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development Maintain compliance with state, district, and ethical standards for therapy services Benefits of the
