Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in a dynamic school setting near Palmetto, FL. These contract positions offer the chance to work on-site starting August 10, 2026, and continuing through May 27, 2027. As part of an engaging educational environment, you will help children and adolescents build essential communication skills. Assignments and caseloads will be determined based on availability and the needs of the district, providing opportunities to make a lasting impact on diverse students.
Requirements:
Active Florida SLP License (Master's degree preferred; will consider candidates with a Bachelor's degree) New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week Experience in school settings is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with varied needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress Adapt services and strategies to support student success in both individual and group settings Fulfill all state and federal documentation and reporting requirements Enjoy the satisfaction of helping students find their voice and achieve their academic goals in a supportive, professional environment.
