Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real impact this school year by working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide services to a diverse student population, supporting their communication and language development in a dynamic educational environment near Port Orange, FL.
Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Florida SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience in school settings or strong desire to work with children and adolescents Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Compassionate, creative, and flexible approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services across school settings Collaborate with educators, other therapists, support staff, and families to promote language and communication goals Maintain detailed progress notes, assessment reports, and therapy documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide initiatives
