SLP in Port Saint Lucie, FL Soliant - 3.9 Port Saint Lucie, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract 23 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' growth and communication in school settings on the Southeast Florida Coast. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC preferred) and SLPAs (with qualified supervisors in place locally) are needed for the 2026-2027 academic year, working with varied age groups and caseloads tailored to your strengths and preferences. Opportunities are available at multiple schools, including established K-8, middle, and high school environments as well as a brand new K-8 campus. Schedules range from full-time (35 hours/week) to flexible part-time options, with most assignments involving only 1-2 sites. Whether working with preschoolers, middle grades, high school students, or specialized ASD, VE, InD, or EBD units, your expertise will make a lasting impact.
Qualifications:
Active Florida SLP license required Preference for ASHA CCCs; SLPAs considered with appropriate supervision School-based SLP experience strongly preferred Experience with autism spectrum disorders, EBD, VE, and InD populations highly valued Strong collaboration skills and comfort working on-site with other SLPs and team members Fingerprinting required (may be expedited via Department of Health records)
Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language and communication therapy services to assigned student caseload Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with educators, families, and other SLPs to optimize services and student outcomes Document interventions and track student progress per district protocols Support a positive, inclusive school environment This contract begins in August 2026 and continues through early June 2027.
