Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic educational environment. This position is ideal for professionals seeking a flexible, part-time schedule and meaningful, direct impact on young learners' lives. As a valued team member, you will: Provide speech and language therapy services to a small caseload of seven students, ensuring personalized attention and meaningful progress. Offer services two days per week, dedicating approximately 2.5 hours each day—perfect for those looking to complement private practice or other professional roles. Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to address students' speech, language, and communication goals. Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive, integrated approach to student development. Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with professional standards.
Qualifications and experience sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active SLP-CCC certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida. Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school or teletherapy settings, highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to thrive independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
