Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist at an elementary school near Riverview, FL. Starting in August 2026 through May 2027, you'll play a vital role in the lives of young learners, providing essential speech and language services in a dynamic school setting. You'll enjoy the consistency of working full-time at a single campus while forming strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
Key Qualifications:
Active Florida SLP license (required) Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting Ability to support elementary-aged students with diverse communication needs Prefers on-site service delivery Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing requirements Candidate zip code requested to help match you with the ideal campus for your commute Successful prescreen interview (internal eligibility process)
Your Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students requiring speech and language support Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate closely with teachers and families Deliver one-on-one and small group therapy in accordance with student goals Document progress, attend meetings, and communicate student outcomes effectively Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive therapy environment
