Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders in patients of all ages, with an emphasis on pediatric populations. Skills Proven experience working in Long term care is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques tailored for children and early intervention initiatives. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with a thorough understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech and swallowing functions. Ability to communicate complex medical terminology clearly to patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on building trust and motivating positive change. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards for healthcare providers.
