Mease Countryside Hospital , part of BayCare Health System , is seeking a motivated and compassionate PRN Speech-Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow (CFY) to join our acute care rehabilitation team. This role provides a structured clinical fellowship experience designed to support the transition from graduate student to independent clinician through mentorship and hands-on patient care. Speech Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow (CFY)
Responsibilities:
Complete a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in accordance with ASHA guidelines and standards. Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings. Provide therapy interventions in an acute care hospital setting, supporting patients with a wide range of diagnoses. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation professionals. Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for continued recovery. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Participate in discharge planning and contribute to continuity of care.
Requirements:
SLP (Speech Language Pathology Provisional License) BLS (Basic Life Support)
