Job Description

We are a leading healthcare provider in St. Petersburg, FL, dedicated to delivering exceptional therapy services to individuals of all ages. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This part-time (PRN/as-needed) position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while enjoying a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals. Provide evidence-based therapy interventions targeting communication, articulation, language comprehension, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home strategies. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification. Valid Florida licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred. Strong clinical knowledge in assessment and intervention for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
