Speech Language Pathologist in Sanford, FL Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Sanford, FL Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Valid state licensure, or ability to obtain licensure if relocating Previous experience in schools preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong written and verbal communication skills Skilled in assessments, creating individualized plans, and delivering direct therapy
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students with communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment plans that address speech, language, and communication needs Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual settings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and provide regular updates to educational teams Engage in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary teams Stay up-to-date with best practices and continuing education in the SLP field This contract position offers a rewarding chance to make a positive difference in a supportive and engaging school community.
