Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact on students' lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This onsite role, beginning in August 2026 and concluding in May 2027, supports K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. Based near Sebring, FL, you'll be part of a supportive group of professionals dedicated to helping every student succeed.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP licensure for the state of Florida, or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience within school settings, serving a broad K-12 population, strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEP development, assessment, and progress monitoring Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to evidence-based intervention strategies and student-centered therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students Develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to individual student needs Provide engaging, targeted speech-language therapy sessions onsite Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain thorough documentation following district and state guidelines Participate in relevant meetings, professional development, and intervention planning
