Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Appropriate state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to manage and prioritize caseloads, documenting progress and outcomes efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from diverse backgrounds Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both individual and group settings Keep thorough records of student progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Educate and support families and teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and student success Take advantage of the flexibility and professional growth that contract assignments offer, while making a tangible impact in students' academic and personal lives.
