In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse pediatric populations. Your expertise will help children develop essential speech, language, and social skills, empowering them to reach their full potential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives through innovative therapy techniques and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients, including early intervention cases Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals Deliver engaging therapy sessions focused on improving speech articulation, language comprehension, voice, fluency, and social communication skills Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches as needed for optimal outcomes Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards Stay current with advances in speech therapy practices, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and anatomy to enhance patient care Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction Proven experience working with pediatric populations in settings such as schools or early intervention programs Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and patient assessment methods Familiarity with physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions Ability to communicate complex medical terminology clearly to families and team members Experience working with children requiring early intervention services is highly preferred Passion for patient care with a proactive approach to supporting children's developmental milestones
