• Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide speech therapy services to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and adults
• Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to improve speech and language skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes ```Skills```
• Acute care experience, particularly in ICU or critical care settings
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology related to speech therapy
• Ability to perform patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Proficiency in case management and coordination of care for patients with complex needs
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech therapy interventions
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
