Speech Language Pathologist in West Palm Beach, FL Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 West Palm Beach, FL Job Details Part-time | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting multiple campuses throughout the West Palm Beach area this summer! This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced SLP-CCCs seeking a part-time schedule working directly on-site within a diverse school district. You'll collaborate with education teams to foster communication skills and promote student success from elementary through secondary grades. Opportunities are available across a variety of campuses, including elementary, high school, and PreK-12 settings for summer session dates: June 10, 2026, through July 16, 2026.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Florida SLP license from the Department of Health (CCC required) Prior school-based SLP experience, with comfort working with elementary or secondary students Ability to work on-site at assigned campuses (remote options are not available) Compliant with state credentialing—including up-to-date fingerprints and ability to obtain a JLA badge (support provided if reprints are required) Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
Responsibilities Include:
Deliver speech-language therapy to students according to IEP goals Assess and document student progress, collaborating with educators and families Serve multiple school sites within the district as needed, supporting a variety of age groups (elementary, PreK-12, or secondary) Attend team meetings and contribute to comprehensive educational planning Maintain timely records and ensure confidentiality at all times
