Job Description

This role is ideal for skilled professionals who excel in providing compassionate, evidence-based services for students, supporting their communication and academic success.
Primary Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Georgia as an SLP. Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. Collaborative spirit with the ability to partner closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech, language, and communication services to students according to IEP requirements. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans to address specific disorders and challenges. Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in eligibility meetings, case conferences, and IEP development. Serve as a resource for school staff, delivering guidance on strategies for fostering communication in the classroom. Engage families by offering support and education to encourage ongoing progress. Adapt evidence-based practices to meet the diverse needs of students from various backgrounds.
