This rewarding position involves delivering specialized speech therapy services to children and adults, with a focus on early intervention, pediatrics, and school-based settings. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement tailored therapy plans aligned with individual needs and goals. Provide engaging speech therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to promote communication development. Support early intervention programs by working with young children in school or community settings. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to maximize outcomes. Skills Previous experience working in school environments or pediatric settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques tailored for children and young patients. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments utilizing medical terminology and anatomy knowledge. Familiarity with physiology related to speech and swallowing functions. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations. Proficiency in understanding medical records and documentation related to patient treatment.
