Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful school-based contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this full-time role, you'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to evaluate, plan, and deliver personalized speech and language interventions to students facing communication challenges. Your expertise will be critical in fostering essential communication skills and helping students thrive both socially and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments for students with varying communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy that aligns with IEP requirements Maintain meticulous records, progress notes, and documentation to ensure compliance with district and state standards Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations Consult with teachers, administrators, occupational therapists, psychologists, and families to support student success Adjust intervention strategies and monitor progress to optimize outcomes for each studentDesired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia and/or appropriate educator certification Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellows with strong pediatric experience are encouraged to apply) Previous experience in a school setting preferred; pediatric experience also valued Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills This is a contract position in a progressive school district in Georgia, with a potential for renewal based on performance and district needs.
