Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives while advancing your professional journey as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity located near Chatsworth, GA, centers on delivering high-quality speech and language services to students in a supportive educational setting. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff as you foster communication skills and help students succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in Georgia (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to complete thorough assessments, develop individualized goals, and implement treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students as needed Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings Maintain consistent and clear documentation on student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members to support student achievement Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations on speech and language development Educate and support staff and families regarding students' speech and language concerns Enjoy the unique reward of supporting student growth while experiencing the flexibility and professional development a contract role provides.
