The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and a strong background in pediatrics. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, providing essential support to enhance their communication skills and overall development. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals. Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored to each child's unique needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support the child's progress. Provide early intervention services to children with speech and language delays. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on best practices in speech therapy, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Experience in a school environment is preferred. Knowledge of pediatric speech therapy techniques and early intervention strategies. Strong understanding of patient care practices and patient assessment methodologies. Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech-language disorders. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
