Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a positive impact within a supportive school environment near Columbus, GA. This role focuses on helping students reach their full communication potential throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Work collaboratively with educators and families while providing essential speech therapy services that foster growth and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Georgia Previous experience in a school setting preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Adaptable and compassionate with a commitment to student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs, both individually and in small groups Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and track progress Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student academic and functional outcomes Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development
