Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting. This role is ideal for a skilled SLP who is passionate about fostering communication development in children and eager to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA. Active or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred. Strong understanding of IEP development, progress documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and manage a diverse caseload.
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student growth. Conduct speech and language screenings and provide recommendations as needed. Maintain accurate documentation, update IEPs, and participate in meetings to review student progress. Provide support and resources for staff and families to enhance communication skills in various settings. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines.
