Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an exciting contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a thriving school district. This position offers a dynamic environment to apply your expertise with a diverse range of students for the 2026-2027 academic year. School assignments will be determined over the summer, ensuring placement that aligns with your skills and interests. The assignment runs from July 28, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License Current Georgia Educator Certificate Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience with school-aged populations preferred Strong collaboration and communication abilities Ability to adapt clinical strategies to individual student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to meet IEP goals for a diverse caseload Conduct thorough evaluations to determine student needs and establish treatment plans Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and administrators Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, delivering input and support for educational planning Employ evidence-based, innovative therapy approaches in individual and group sessions This contract offers the chance to make a significant impact in a supportive, student-focused educational setting.
