Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by using your speech-language pathology expertise in an engaging school environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification who's passionate about helping children thrive academically and socially.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Georgia Experience working in schools or pediatric settings highly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and school staff Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable therapy goals Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student outcomes Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and related paperwork Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for strategies and accommodations Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field
