Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Discover rewarding contract opportunities for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) seeking district-wide experience for the 2026-27 school year. Multiple onsite positions are available for certified SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFYs), serving elementary, middle, or high school students. The assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through May 26, 2027, offering a full 40-hour work week in a supportive educational setting just outside of Atlanta. This is an excellent chance to enhance your skills in a region rich with culture and professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible for SLP-CCC licensure; SLP-CFY candidates are strongly encouraged to apply Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision offered Previous experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language therapy is highly valued Comfortable working onsite; teletherapy experience also considered an asset Proficient in evaluation and treatment of communication, articulation, and language disorders Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff In this role, you will: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students at the elementary, middle, or high school level Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and take an active role in IEP meetings Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and healthcare professionals to support students' academic achievement and communication goals Participate in school activities and engage families in the therapy process Elevate your career while making a meaningful difference in students' lives within a vibrant community just south of Atlanta.
