Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) looking to make a meaningful impact in school communities! This full-time, on-site contract position is located near Douglasville, GA, with responsibilities at a single school site serving both elementary and middle school students. Enjoy the structure and support of a school environment while collaborating with dedicated educational professionals during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (no SLPAs) Active and valid Georgia PSC certification (recently required) Current state licensure for SLPs in Georgia Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills Successful completion of fingerprinting and drug screening for credentialing Ability to adapt to changing caseload sizes and sites as determined by school needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in elementary and middle school settings Conduct assessments and interpret results for educational planning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents in developing and adjusting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all regulations Participate in team meetings, provide consultation, and offer professional recommendations Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment for all students Enjoy working in a single campus setting with strong staff collaboration and support. Prescreen interviews are a part of the internal review process—candidates must be available on a weekday between 9-11 am or 2-3 pm EST; some flexibility is available.
