Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in Duluth, GA. This role offers flexibility with both onsite and teletherapy services, allowing you to work with students in various educational settings from July 28, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Ideal candidates will have experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology, including clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion or status. Comfort providing teletherapy services is essential, alongside the ability to engage with students in person. You'll be expected to implement individualized therapy plans that support students' communication goals and collaborate with educators and support staff to foster a nurturing learning environment.
Key qualifications and experience:
Experience working as an SLP in pediatric and school healthcare settings Ability to deliver teletherapy effectively and maintain student engagement remotely CFY completion or eligibility preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents Skilled in providing services across elementary, middle, and high school populations Flexibility to work full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time based on availability Responsibilities include: Delivering both onsite and virtual speech-language therapy to students Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized education and treatment plans Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Monitoring student progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed This contract position offers an opportunity to impact students' communication skills throughout a full academic year while choosing from full-time or part-time schedules. Locations span across several schools within the Duluth area, providing diverse and rewarding clinical experiences.
