Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students' communication and language development for the 2026-2027 academic year. This flexible contract role near Eatonton, GA, is ideal for Speech-Language Pathology professionals with a passion for working directly with children in educational settings. Two part-time roles are available, each offering 25-30 hours per week, starting July 30, 2026, and concluding May 22, 2027.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an
SLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Previous experience in a school environment preferred but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, parents, and students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screening, evaluation, and assessments to identify students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students ranging from preschool through high school Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and therapeutic interventions Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff professional development activities as needed Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology This contract position lets you make a real impact with a manageable, part-time schedule, perfect for maintaining work-life balance.
