Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference for students by bringing your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to a vibrant, supportive school community located near Gainesville, GA. This contract opportunity runs from July 28th, 2026, to May 28th, 2027, with placements at various schools to be determined over the summer. Enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working alongside dedicated educators and support staff. Your commitment will help students overcome speech and language challenges so they can thrive academically and socially. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services and create a positive impact throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Georgia SLP license and GA Educator Certificate required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Previous experience in K-12 educational settings beneficial Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit Ability to adapt services across various campus settings Knowledge of IEP processes and relevant documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Provide therapy sessions and monitor student outcomes Maintain accurate records and timely documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team goals This is a fantastic chance to build relationships with energetic students and dedicated faculty, expand your professional skills, and contribute to educational success in a dynamic school district.
