Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, contributing to the academic and developmental success of students. This role focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services and empowering educational growth for students throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a school-based SLP Prior experience delivering speech and language therapy, ideally within a school setting Strong organizational skills and adaptability to diverse student needs Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families Experience with IEP development and documentation preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups, both in-person and virtually as needed Educate students, families, and staff on best practices to support communication and language development Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each student's needs This contract position offers an excellent chance to make a positive impact while working alongside committed professionals in a supportive educational environment.
