Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving an elementary and middle school population near Kennesaw, GA. This on-site opportunity offers the chance to work at a single school site within a dynamic educational setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide tailored speech and language services. Develop your career while helping young learners succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current, active GA PSC credential (required by start date) State SLP licensure and valid
ASHA CCC
certification At least one year of school-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills Eligibility to work in a school setting including completion of fingerprinting and a drug screen SLPs only (no SLPAs accepted at this time)
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students in both elementary and middle school Develop and implement IEP goals and collaborate with educators and families to drive student success Take part in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and
RTI/MTSS
initiatives Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district policies Adapt caseload and therapy approaches as needed in partnership with school leadership, as assignments may shift
