Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. In this role, you'll focus on fostering communication skills and enabling students to reach their full potential in a supportive, school-based environment. This position is on-site at a single campus and spans the full 2026-2027 school year.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Current GA PSC certification (required as of the new updates) Active professional state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Able to clear time-sensitive credentialing (fingerprints, drug screening) SLPAs not accepted for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language services, including evaluations, therapy, and documentation Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Maintain accurate records and convey progress to families and staff Work closely with teachers and school staff to promote student success on campus
