Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as you step into this dynamic contract opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a school setting near La Fayette, GA. Through collaboration and creativity, you'll help students thrive by delivering high-quality speech and language services tailored to each learner's unique needs.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Passion for supporting diverse students and providing inclusive care
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement effective Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Deliver direct therapy in both individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals to optimize student progress Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and therapy effectiveness Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student success Provide resources, support, and education for school staff and parents as needed
