Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Macon, GA, with opportunities for part-time hours. This role offers the flexibility to support students through in-person services, focusing on pediatric speech therapy within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions for elementary-aged students. Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Utilize telespeech methods as needed to support remote or hybrid learning models. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech therapy.
Qualifications:
Valid Georgia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Demonstrated experience as an SLP, preferably in pediatric and school-based settings. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently within a school environment.
