ONSITE Position Description:

The in-person/onsite Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services. This position calls for one full-time middle school SLP.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assess students' communication skills (e.g. articulations, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, etc.) for the purpose of identifying communication disorders, determining program eligibility and developing recommendations for treatment Coordinate meetings and processes for eligible students Develop treatment plans, interventions and/or educational materials Maintain files and/or records (e.g. progress reports, activity logs, treatment plans, required documentation, screening results, etc.) Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars (e.g. training, IEP, IFSP, team meetings, etc.) for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information Provide speech and language therapy to students

Minimum Requirements:

1099 Contractor

ASHA SLP

License and Georgia State SLP License Minimum Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders or related field Demonstrate excellence in verbal and written communications Experience with collaborative groups and processes in a student-centered environment Other qualifications of academic, professional, and personal excellence as the Governing Board may specify Must be at least 18 years of age CF-SLP's may apply Guaranteed hours per week (excludes holidays, school closings, etc)
